WINTER EXHIBITIONS
23 November 2024 - 8 March 2025Our Winter Exhibitions run from 23rd November through until March. We have called it the plural, exhibitions, because there will be so much work - a small wall of 10" x 12" paintings, Paul Barnes' Natural Affinity and new work by Ann Oram, Alan Macdonald, Rory Macdonald, Robert McAulay, Maggie New and much more.

New work 3 January 2025These new works by Allison Weightman - which includes vases, shotgun bowls and 'landscapes' - shows Weightman to be a ceramic artist of note. She is in full flow, and these new pieces are as powerful as they are beautiful. -
NICOLA MOSS | Elementals
new work 3 January - 1 February 2025We are excited to share with you a small exhibition of Nicola Moss's 'elementals' in egg tempura and shellac. This is a collection of 12" x 10" paintings which explore the visions that come from sitting quietly in the land. She has channelled these into works with a unique but understandable language of geometries, symbols and hope. -

ALLAN MACDONALD | new work
Twelve New Paintings from Iceland 6 November - 21 December 2024MacDonald's latest twelve paintings are inspired by an expedition to Iceland in 2022, and they capture some of the unexpected wonders of a country famous for sagas, ice, volcanoes and epic waterfalls. These paintings let us see the land and the all-powerful forces that form it in new ways, and It has allowed MacDonald to find new ways to work with oil paints, a medium which he has made his own.

PAUL BARNES | Natural Affinity
an exhibition of new work 23 November - 21 December 2024The jewel-like paintings of Paul Barnes blend tribal art, folk and fairy law with a level of craftsmanship that gives the impression of timelessness, of being something found or discovered. This is an exhibition of fourteen new works, with a catalogue, which lets us step for a moment into Barnes' world of light and dark.
